Short pasta, long pasta, pasta that can be stuffed, pasta for soups - the uses for pasta are endless! There are some shapes and sizes that are better suited for holding sauces in their ridges, while others are better for baked dishes.
What Is Conchiglie?
Conchiglie is a pasta variety that is shaped like a conch shell. The smallest shell shape is called conchigliette and the largest shell shape is called conchiglioni.

How To Cook Conchigliette
Conchigliette is commonly used in pasta salads and with heavy meat sauces as they have excellent capability to hold different fillings. They are also a great size for kids' meals.
