Couverture is French for “covering”. It is a very high-quality chocolate that contains a higher percentage of cocoa butter than other chocolate.

This additional cocoa butter gives the chocolate more sheen, a firmer "snap" when broken, and a creamy mellow flavour.

This is a rich 73% dark chocolate couverture made using premium Dominican Republic beans. It is organic, fairtrade certified and palm oil free.

Cooking with Dark Chocolate Couverture

This couverture is perfect for nibbling, melting, baking, dipping, sharing, making chocolate bars, clusters or barks.

Ingredients: Dark chocolate containing 73% cocoa solids minimum (cocoa mass, sugar, cocoa butter, vanilla powder)


Cocoa, sugar, vanilla: traded in compliance with Fairtrade standards.


For allergens see ingredients in bold. May contain milk and soya. Made in a kitchen where nuts, sesame seeds, wheat flour, oats and eggs are used. This product is suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
