Authentic, delicious, pure and Italian Organic Tricolore Fusilli. Made using wheat grown on family-run Italian farms that are passionate about tradition and craftsmanship.

Description

Organic Tricolore Fusilli

Fusilli is a spiral or corkscrew-shaped pasta. Because of its twists, it has grooves that are good for holding onto sauce.

Fusilli was originally developed in Southern Italy by rolling and setting fresh spaghetti around thin rods to dry. This shape is traditionally formed by rolling strips of pasta over a rod to create the twisted shape.

There are hundreds of pasta shapes, each with their own purpose. Short pasta, long pasta, pasta that can be stuffed, pasta for soups - the uses for pasta are endless!

There are some shapes and sizes that are better suited for holding sauces in their ridges, while others are better for baked dishes.

How To Cook

Cooking Tricolore Fusilli

Fusilli works well with any sauce, added to soups, or turned into a salad, and this shape also bakes well in a casserole.

Cook for 10-12 minutes until al dente. Drain straight away.

Yay!

I'm very pleased to have found some refillable pasta which doesn't compromise its pasticity. Others I've used don't retain their shape, or cook al dente - this does! Thanks :)
