These filter coffee beans originate from the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste (more commonly known as East Timor).

It is a small tropical island nation situated in South East Asia and is one of the youngest nation-states in the world, after gaining independence in 2002.

Today, local farmers are focused on the quality, not quantity, of their crop. All beans are grown wild underneath the imposing shade trees that dominate the landscape.

We can freshly ground these beans for you. Just let us know whether you'd like them fine, medium or coarse in the "special instruction" box in your cart.

Flavour Notes

This filter coffee tastes of pear, caramel and brown sugar.

Medium Roast

These coffee beans have been medium roasted to preserve the delicate flavours (as opposed to a darker roast which gives a much stronger coffee flavour).

Washed Process

This gives a “clean” flavour and allows you to better taste the flavour of the coffee beans, as it doesn’t impart additional flavours during the process.

Ingredients & Allergens

Ingredients: Coffee beans

For allergens see ingredients in bold.

Due to the way our food is stored and packaged, this product may contain traces of other allergens due to cross-contamination.

Your beans’ greatest enemies are air, moisture, heat, and light.

Store in an air tight container in a dark, cool, dry place.A cabinet near the oven is often too warm, and so is a spot on the kitchen counter that gets strong afternoon sun.

To keep the great flavour, use within 1 month. The coffee will keep for up to 6 months but the flavour won't be as good. See best before date.
