Toothbrush (Soft) - Water Neutral, Vegan, Fair

Using the Bamboo Toothbrush

Bamboo is a natural material that keeps best when in a dry area - a cup that collects water is not the best place to keep this toothbrush. Leave it in an area where it can dry - a sunny spot is even better!

The bamboo on the top part of the toothbrush that goes in your mouth may start to appear lighter and faded with use. This is normal! 

With proper care, this toothbrush will last just as long as a conventional toothbrush. It is recommended that any brush be changed after c.3 months when the bristles start to fray. 

Disposing of this Toothbrush 

The bristles are not biodegradable, so they will need to go into the bin. You can use pliers to pull out the bristles along with a small metal staple that holds them together. 

The handle can be upcycled or composted at home. It makes a great seed stick!

Raw Materials 

The handle is made of fast-growing Moso bamboo which is biodegradable. During its two-year growth phase, Moso bamboo reaches a height of up to 20 metres. Artificial irrigation is not used in our bamboo cultivation, nor are pesticides or other chemicals.

The biobased bristles are obtained from castor oil. The oil derived from the plant Ricinus Communis is processed into the biobased bristles and is free of BPA and petroleum.

The solvent-free coloured lacquers of the natural colour manufacturer AURO, which are used to colour the handles, are also consistently ecological.

This toothbrush comes packed plastic-free in beautiful recycled cardboard.
