Pesticide Action Network UK have published a list of the fruits and vegetables containing the most pesticide residues termed The Dirty Dozen as well as a list with the least pesticide residues, termed The Clean Fifteen.

this naughty list contains: Grapefruit, Oranges, Lemons, Limes, Strawberries, Pears, Grapes, Cherries, Peaches, Parsnips, Asparagus, Apples & Apricots.

How To Avoid

Buying organic is an easy way to avoid all pesticide, fertilisers and other nasties used on farms today.  

The Clean Fifteen

in better news; Beetroot, Corn on the cob, Mushrooms, Figs, Rhubarb, Swede, Turnip, Onions, Avocado, Cauliflower, Radish, Sweet Potatoes, Broad Beans, Leeks, Pumpkin & Squash have been found to contain the least pesticide residue of all fruit and vegetable.
