These wraps are hand-made the old way in East London. No cutting presses, commercial wax cookers or waxing conveyor belts in sight.

Food Safe Beeswax Wraps

Despite the tiny team, these wraps have undergone rigorous independent, international standards testing.

Unlike many other beeswax wraps, they comply with both the EU Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004, the UK's Materials and Articles in Contact with Food Regulations 2012 and Standard EN1186.

The OEKO-TEX Certificates mean the fabric used has passed stringent tests for dozens of harmful substances (like formaldehyde, lead, arsenic, pesticides, carcinogens, etc.) to ensure that the fabrics are in no way harmful to health.

How To Use Beeswax Wraps

Just warm the sheet in your hand to soften and mould into the shape you need. Just pressing the edges together will create an air-tight seal.

At the end of their life, we would recommend rewaxing the cotton (you can buy a bar and then use an iron to apply it) but you can also compost them, as they are biodegradable!
