Made in West Sussex using the finest single-origin cocoa beans from the Dominican Republic, this Fairtrade Milk Chocolate Couverture is perfect for sharing, snacking and baking with your loved ones too!
Milk Chocolate Couverture
Couverture is French for “covering” and chocolate couverture is code for very high-quality chocolate that contains a greater percentage of cocoa butter than other chocolate.
This additional cocoa butter gives the chocolate more sheen, a firmer "snap" when broken and a creamy mellow flavour.
This milk chocolate couverture is perfect for nibbling, melting, baking, dipping, sharing, making chocolate bars, clusters or barks.
Fairtrade Milk Chocolate
Fairtrade cocoa farmers are guaranteed the Fairtrade minimum price for their crop, plus an additional Fairtrade Premium.
It means they are more likely to be able to cover household costs like education, food and healthcare and invest the extra Premium to benefit the wider community, such as buying hospital and school equipment.
