Organic Ground Nutmeg
Ground Nutmeg is the seed of the fragrant nutmeg tree. Mace is its dried outer covering.
It is an aromatic spice and a warm, slightly sweet taste. It makes a delicious addition to soups (especially pumpkin soup!), curries, sauces, puddings, cakes and pastries.
Our nutmeg is as powerful as I have found so please use sparingly!
And here's a fun fact; nutmeg has been a valuable commodity throughout the ages and was once hailed as “worth its weight in gold.”
