What Is Conchigliette?
Conchiglie is a pasta variety that is shaped like a conch shell.
The smallest shell shape is called conchigliette and the largest shell shape is called conchiglioni.
These conchigliette are pretty tiny, at around 0.5cm long each.
Conchigliette is commonly used in pasta salads and with heavy meat sauces as they have excellent capability to hold different fillings. They are also a great size for kids' meals.
