This gluten-free panko crumb is made from Norfolk-grown yellow pea flour, and nothing else!
You would never tell, and I suspect neither will anyone you serve it to!
How To Cook Panko Breadcumbs
This crumb is fantastic for making crispy, fried foods thanks to its light, flaky constitution which absorbs less oil during the frying process than traditional bread crumbs.
Prepare your veg/meat/fish so they have flat surfaces available. Aim of a cooking time of 30 minutes to a good crisp. Mix 8 tablespoons of flour with 180ml water and some salt onto a lipped plated. Place the panko on another plate.
Cover both sides of whatever you're cooking with the flour batter, shake off excess, and press onto the panko to coat. Bake on both sides (with a little oil for extra crisp!)
