Whole Cashews - Organic
Whole Cashews - Organic
What Are Cashew Nuts?
Cashews have a buttery, sweet, salty taste, unmistakable shape, and are an excellent source of several vitamins, minerals and “good” fat.
They grow on trees and the nuts hang at the bottom of the cashew apple (which is a fruit and can be eaten like an apple).
How To Cook Cashew Nuts
Cashews make excellent dairy replacements, such as cashew butter, milk, cheese and ice cream. They are also an excellent ingredient for thickening sauces.
They can be eaten dried, roasted or salted as a snack or in salads. Unsalted cashews are great for cooking – add them to Chinese and Southeast Asian dishes just before serving. You can also add them to rice dishes for some extra texture.
