Citric acid is an organic compound derived from lemon juice, and can be used for so many things: cleaning, cooking, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals or as a pH regulator.
Food grade citric acid is a weak natural acid with potential descaling properties and a rust removing action. Such a wonderful, useful household product particularly due to its limescale removing properties.

How To Use Citric Acid
To descale your kettle, half fill with water, boil and add 2 tsp of citric acid. Stand until cool before emptying.
To descale the toilet, add warm water to bowl. Add 2 tbsp. Leave for 1 hour and flush.
For general bathroom cleaning add 1 tsp to 1l water. Spray and leave for 30 secs before wiping off.
Do not use on natural stone. Always test on an inconspicuous area first.
