Our Organic Ground Cloves have a rich warm flavour and have been used for thousands of years across Asia.

Description

Originating from Southeast Asia, cloves are the hard-dried flower buds of an evergreen tree in the Myrtle family.

Whole cloves are about 1cm long and shaped like a small, reddish-brown spike with a ball at one end.

Cloves can be used in both sweet and savoury dishes, from flavouring sauces, soups, and curries to mulled wines, biscuits and pastries.
