Apricots (also known as Armenian Plums) originated in Central Asia and in their dried form, they became a valued commodity on the Silk Road as they could be transported over long distances.
These delicious dried apricots can be eaten as they are, popped into a pilaf with some flaked almonds and raisins, paired with cheese and crackers… there are so many ways to enjoy them!
