Masala Chai Loose Leaf Tea
The habit of flavouring tea with spices has come to us from Asia and in India for example, every home has its own recipe, often closely guarded!
How To Brew Masala Chai Loose Leaf Tea
This can be made just like a regular tea with boiling water or in the India traditional way: bringing milk to the boil before adding tea to the pan and simmering for a further 5-8 mins and then straining into a cup.
Brewed right this masala chai is spicy, warm and strong. And look rich and golden.
Can be drunk with or without milk. Sugar is often added to the milk version.
